The research paper A Digital Blueprint of Breathing Spaces in Mumbai, co-authored by teams from NAGAR and the Urban Design Research Institute (UDRI), maps and analyses public open spaces across suburban Mumbai. Using GIS-based tools, the study proposes a comprehensive mapping methodology to document the city’s “breathing spaces” and understand their distribution, accessibility, and characteristics. The work aims to provide citizens, planners, and policymakers with reliable data to better monitor, manage, and protect Mumbai’s public open spaces
