A booklet was developed by CitiSpace (Constitunet of NAGAR) after years of legal intervention in the Bombay High Court and Supreme Court to enforce the Supreme Court’s 1985 directions on regulating hawking in Mumbai. The project distilled complex court orders into an accessible, citizen-friendly guide, helping residents, shopkeepers, and hawkers understand designated Hawking and Non-Hawking Zones, their rights, and the regulatory framework governing street vending in Greater Mumbai. It remains a key resource for public awareness and urban governance.
