Representatives from NAGAR and the FORT Heritage Conservation Association have been selected for the prestigious 2025 Cohort of Preserving Legacies, a global initiative led by the National Geographic Society, ICOMOS, and the Climate Heritage Network. Each year, hundreds of cultural places and practices apply, and only 10-12 sites are chosen. Our joint representation, through the Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai, marks the first team from India to join this cohort.
Preserving Legacies supports local changemakers in safeguarding cultural and natural heritage from the impacts of climate change. We are honoured to be part of this global network, working together toward climate resilience and heritage preservation.
